Catering Dietitian

ISS Mediclean is the Healthcare Division in the UK of the global
ISS Group, providing full Facility Services to the NHS and private
hospitals. Due to the expansion of our business, we are looking to
appoint a Catering Dietitian working across both Hammersmith and
Charing Cross Hospital sites part of the Imperial College
Healthcare NHS Trust, London. The main catering department base
will be discussed with the successful candidate.
The role includes the provision of dietetic support, training
and the development of relevant resources. You will provide an
important link between the catering and dietetic departments and be
a strong influence on improving patient nutrition. You will also be
involved in auditing, project work and menu development. You will
be expected to technically direct the diet bay staff to ensure the
accurate and safe provision of a wide range of therapeutic
diets.
Your role will also include overseeing the restaurant menu and
ensuring the company healthy eating initiative ‘Taste of Health’ is
implemented. Further career and personal development will be
supported and you will be encouraged to participate in the dietetic
department professional development activities.
The ideal candidate must be a UK registered dietitian with at
least eighteen months clinical experience. Experience within a
catering environment would be an advantage. An out going
personality and excellent communication skills are essential to
succeed in this non-clinical, dietetic role.
