Based within a community
setting, you will work alongside other community dietitians, a
dietetic support worker and a nutritionist in the Nutrition and
Dietetics Department, Dartford & Gravesham NHS

Band 6: £24,831 - £33,436 pa, exclusive of Allowances
37.5 hours per week
This role offers the
opportunity to gain experience in a range of dietetic fields,
including nutritional support, diabetes, weight management, texture
modified diets and wound management. You will see patients in a
variety of settings including their own home, nursing and
residential homes and GP out patient clinics. The post also
includes health promotion and involvement with various training
programmes. You will also be involved in multi-professional working
across the local area and in six-monthly clinical rotations both in
community and acute settings.
You will be part of a team of
Acute and Community staff who are innovative in their practice and
work closely with the Primary care Trust to provide an integrated
locality service. The Department undertakes extensive student
training taking A, B and C placements. Training and support will be
provided for you, for facilitating learning for students. There is
a commitment to staff training and CPD, providing many in-house and
external courses and training opportunities.
